Sumioni: Demon Arts is an Action, Platform, and Single-player video game developed by Acquire Corp. and published by Xseed Games. The game starts with once upon a time in Feudal Japan, where a wicked summoner came along with a massive evil. At that time, there’s only a man who could stop him, an advisor to the ex-chancellor known as Tengan. But the wicked summoner anticipated his challenge and had an advisor to prison forever. After that, Tengan elected to free a Sumioni at the cost of his life. The game takes place in the 2D world where the player controls the protagonist who can explore the Feudal Japan environment from a side-scroll perspective. During the gameplay, the player must reveal his brutal powers, take down the opposing team, avoid obstacles, and reach the end of each level to confront the boss and obtain unique power-ups. The protagonist is equipped with a mighty sword that can be used to kill enemies for points. The level difficulty will be increased as the player progresses and the final stage is too severe that the player needs lots of concentration, strategy, and powerful ranged weapon to clear it. The storyline is set in the futuristic year 2097, on the colonized Callisto. The game starts with the G-Police battling against organized criminals before combating the private armies in an unfolding plot. The gameplay is a blend of piloting an aircraft, protecting allies, engaging in combat with foes, and resembling helicopter elements. The player can explore the world from either a first-person view or a third-person perspective, including the viewpoint from within the cockpit. The aircraft comes with a variety of weapons which the player can use progresses through the game and can upgrade them using earned points. There are challenging missions available and each mission needs a completion of certain objectives. With addictive gameplay, superb mechanics, and smooth controls, G-Police is the best game to play.
