BioShock
Bioshock, developed by 2K Boston in collaboration with 2K Australia and published by 2K Games is a First Person Shooter and an RPG (Role Playing Game) video game playable on PC (Microsoft Windows), Mac OS X, PlayStation 03, Xbox 360 Cloud OnLive and iOS platforms. The game is set in the year 1969 and features the protagonist Jack who after a plane crash near an underwater city Rapture, tries to escape but instead discovers something out of this world. The city stood in the bottom of the sea for decades but its foundations started to crumble with the discovery of a Plasmid named ADAM intended to empower humans with super powers. Jack tries to escape the city but the only possible way to get out of the city gets stormed with the ADAM powered super humans and jack starts fighting with them in order to get out. By the use of different weapons and the Plasmid, Jack fends off the enemy and frees a bunch of the last remaining sane people who then turn the city’s defensive systems against the enemies. Jack continues his journey, keeps defeating the foes and finally gets out of the city by utilizing the stealth and melee techniques along with the use of different weapons. BioShock with a horror survival and biopunk (a mixture of Biotechnology and Punk) themed environment, a brilliant story-line and quite exciting game-play provides with an amazing FPS gaming experience. Resident Evil is a bit oldie but still popular Single-player Horror-Survival and Shooter video game by Capcom. The game is also known as Bio Hazard in Japan and some other parts of the world. This one is the very first game is the Resident Evil series and provides the basis of all the saga. The game’s story features the character of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Both of the characters are part of S.T.A.R.S, an Elite Task Force that travels to the Raccoon City to investigate the sudden disappearance of their team members. While searching for the clues, they get trapped inside a huge mansion filled with all kinds of gory monsters and Zombies. The players can either select Chriss or Jill as the main character, explore the mansion and uncover the secrets about the disappearance of the team members and the Zombie outbreak. Throughout the series, from the very beginning to the most recent installment, Resident Evil follows similar types of stories and offers similar gameplay with different characters and locations. With all the Third-person Action and Drama, exploration, loads of Puzzles, Inventory management, upgrades and stuff, Resident Evil is one of the longest running and the most popular Horror-Survival series of games.

Resident Evil: Revelations is a great Third-person Shooter Horror-Survival and Action-Adventure video game similar to Alan Wake. The game features the characters of agent Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat working for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) in order to eliminate the threats posed by a Bioterrorist Organization named as II Veltro. Your task is to get into the character of the main protagonist Jessica Sherawat and go to the floating city of Terragrigia, neutralize genetically modified creatures and mutants (known as the Bio Organic Weapons BOWs) in order to save the remaining populace. Resident Evil: Revelations lets you use sophisticated weaponry against the hardcore enemies, allow you to engage yourself into amazingly action-packed melee and long distance combats, complete the tasks and enjoy an amazingly addictive and quite immersive thrill filled gaming experience. With a visually brilliant game setting, eye-catching graphics, a well-written storyline and an engaging game-play, Resident Evil: Revelations is a great blend of Action-Adventure, Horror-Survival and Shooting aesthetics.
