Unlike the previous game, the game revolves around action elements with the player no requiring to defend civilians any more in need, and instead, Jehuty comprises weaponry that in the previous title. The storyline of the game takes place two years after the event of the first game and centres on Dingo Egret, an ex-member from a military organization known as BAHRAM of Mars whose commander named Ridley Hardiman wants back with him. As the story advances, the commander shoots the protagonist, following his rejection, but another agent named Ken Marinaris rescues Dingo by connecting his body to Jehuty and forces to work to take down his commander.
