World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko: The Last Hope
World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko: The Last Hope is an RPG, Casual, and Single-player video game developed by Chunsoft. It is the second game in the Mystery Dungeon series and offers similar gameplay to the original one. Throughout time, the player assumes the role of a protagonist named Torneko, who has to explore the items’ mazes.
The player controls the character from an overhead perspective that is convenient to beware of the dangers. The character can attack with close-ranged weapons like swords and long-ranged weapons like bow and arrow. The player can summon magic spells using a wand or scroll. Identical to the first one, Torneko also has a hunger meter, which decreases health if he does not eat bread.
During the exploration, the player can discover treasure and magic items that offer upgrades. The player has to engage in turn-based combats where the ruthless monsters make the player’s life hard. It is set in the dungeon to contain over fifty challenging levels in the Story mode, and the game is about shogun who summons the champion to rescue the shogunate from an evil. The game offers the similar gameplay to the Rogue-like video game Nethack and revolves around the turn-based element. The player controls his character from an isometric perspective with an aim to go deeper into the dungeon to face off brutal monsters and defeat them to earn points and more.
