Retro City Rampage DX is a Top-Down Action-Adventure, Open World, and Single-player video game developed and published by Vblank Entertainment. It takes place in the fictional city of Thefttropolis in 1985, where the protagonist is hired as a henchman of a massive crime syndicate controlled by the Jester. During the event, the booth flings the player forward in time to the year 20XX. Upon arrival, the man arrives named as Doc Choc in his time traveling vehicle and save the player as the both breaks down. The ultimate objective of the player is to collect the rare parts by navigating the world to repair the telephone booth, while encountering waves of 80s games and pop culture including the Jester, Dr. Von Buttnik, and more. There are more than fifty story-based missions available and thirty challenging stages.
