The Settlers II Mission CD is an Adventure, City Building, Strategy, and Single-player video game developed by Blue Byte Software. Throughout the gameplay, the player has to build an empire on every map having efficient economic and social aspects.
Every map must have a troop unit to defend the attacking enemies and conquer the other territories to expand the ruling area. The game has two different modes, such as Campaign and free mode and both offer unique gameplay. In the campaign mode, the player has to complete the missions with the same goal to beat the AI rivals and take control over their map.
In Free Game mode, the player selects a map and refines the objectives in different styles, such as limiting the number of races, choosing a race to look after, offering the conquering conditions, and determining of everything. The priests have stolen the crown of Ardania and wants to rule the kingdom.
The player must fight for the kingdom’s glory and retake the crown from the spirits. The game comes up with ten missions where each one has a specific and particular objective to complete. The solo campaign offers over 15 levels to engage in, and the progression is possible as the player completes the missions one-by-one.
Expanded maps allow the player to roam freely, and ten different classes offer a unique experience for the player. The game has a set of buildings and heroes where the player can gain access after completing the missions. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of King of Ardania Kingdom, where tough times have overlapped the kingdom. The loyal persons of the kingdom take every decision, and the player just has a monetary incentive over the realm.
While inspecting the kingdom, the player views the characters from a bird’s eye view. Special abilities are there for the player that allows him to battle and done great damage to the opponents. As the player makes progress, the abilities unlock, and the player can increment their strengths. A great collection of soldiers are there for the player to make a strong and unbeatable army.
