The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is a Survival, Horror, Action, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game offered by Supermassive Games. During the gameplay, the player can control a character out of five characters, needs to make decisions based on the character’s head and heart, and selects the options from the list available. A ghost ship traps all the characters, and they need to get rid of the prison altogether.
The player can explore the ghost ship using a third-person perspective, and the game offers three modes, such as Movie Night, Solo Story, and Shared Story. In the Shared Story mode, the player can play online via cooperating to complete the missions, while the movie night mode allows the player to select all the five characters and play real-time gameplay. He can see the Slender Man outside but when he gets out in the open, the slender man goes to a much farther distance and can be seen on top of the hills. Loaded with just a flashlight, He starts searching for the pages and during his search slender man suddenly appears in front of him and because of slender man’s slightly changing behavior, he sometimes kills the protagonist and sometimes he leaves him alive with a little bit of his health wasted. The player carries on searching and if he finds out all the eight pages before the slender man gets to him, the search finishes and the level of the game concludes.

During his journey to find X, Ethan encounters the members of Oro (A league of mind controlling maestros) and defeats them and the mind-boggling story continues.
