The game centers on the main protagonist of the series Super Mario and his companions as they struggling to slaughter the main antagonist of the game named as Smithy. It offers action-based gameplay and has an exciting story, in which the antagonist stolen the seven star pieces where all inhabitant of the world desires become wish star. There are up to five playable characters and the player can take on the role of his favorite character. In the beginning, the player needs to navigate the world from isometric perspective, effort to complete the quests and collect seven pieces of Star Road to restore the peace. Like other Role-playing games, it split into two categories such as Turn-based Battle and Adventure. During the exploration, the player can interact with environment and non-player characters to progress through the game.
