Both modes are available for better gaming experience such as Single-player and Multiplayer, and the game acts as the 3rd full and 9th overall title in the series of SpellForce games. The storyline of the game acts as the prequel to the first installment, depicting events that command the creation of The Circle, the tea of mages whose actions were the basis for the Order of Dawn. Like the previous installment, the game offers the combination of RTS and RPG elements and puts the player in control of a mage known as Tahar and a group of characters with different abilities and backstories. Like other RPGs, characters are equipped with different items such as weapons, armour, and jewellery that influence the traits and abilities of the character. Most maps of the game enable the player to create buildings and collect resources to establish additional units with fixed abilities. It introduces an extensive campaign that the player can enjoy by a single-player or two-player mode.
