Silent Hill: Book of Memories is an Action, Hack and Slash and Adventure video game developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Konami. It is the sequel to the Silent Hill video game and the first title in the series to include role-playing elements with co-op gameplay. The job of the player is to control a playable character from a top-down perspective through a variety of levels consisting of dungeons filled with monsters. There are multiple character classes available such as Preppy, Bookworm, Goth, Jock and more. In the beginning, the player needs to choose his or her character and customize it using lots of accessories and choices. The player receives experience points for killing brutal monsters, and the level of the player will raise after gaining enough points. The player can explore the world to pit against monsters and can slay them using his or her mighty sword. The game increases the level difficulty as the player advances through it. During combat, the player uses a variety of ranged weapons, melee, several items, and ammunition.
