Romancing SaGa 2 focuses on Role-playing genre, developed and published by Square for multiple platforms. The game features Single-player mode and serves as the 5th installment in the series of SaGa. It brings an exciting story, in which the emperor of Avalon starts the adventure as the King Leon and later shifts as his different heirs. According to the storyline, Leon (the King) hands his kingdom over to his beloved son named as Gellard and at the end of the region of the Gellard, the player can choose his or her successor and pass on the abilities of Gellard to them. The player starts the game as the king of a castle, situated in the northwest corner of the map. The Treasurer tells the player about the fun reserved in his castle treasury. In the game, the player sit upon the throne and struggle to control the generations of rulers in the battlefield against the seven heroes. During the gameplay, the player experiences the thrilling narrative and uses the variety of weapons and martial arts in battle to learn new combat techniques.
