Descent II is an Action-Adventure, First-person Shooter (FPS), Single-player and Multiplayer video game with an emphasis on Shoot ‘em up elements developed by Parallax Software and published by Interplay Productions. It is the 2nd installment in the series of Descent and serves as the sequel to the original title, Descent. Unlike traditional FPS video games, the player controls the flying ship that has a 6DOF movement scheme, enabling the player to move in any direction. During the gameplay, the player is free to move up or down, left or right, forward or backward, and rotate in any axes. The ship is equipped with weapons that the player uses to kill enemies and can fire flares to navigate the dark areas. There are more than twenty-four levels available in Single-player mode, where multiple types of evil robots are trying to hinder the progress of the player. In each level, the player can find and destroy the reactor to defeat the boss, depending on which level the player is currently playing. With engaging gameplay, superb graphics, and brilliant controls, Descent II is the wonderful game to play and enjoy.

He can select his blasters, put on his sneakers, and dance his way through a set of levels. The player manipulates the environment from a first-person perspective and uses a set of weapons to destroy the enemies and droids to earn points. In the game, the player immerses himself in the virtual reality gameplay experience. The game takes players in the zombie apocalypse, and it requires a motion controller for play.
