Namco X Capcom is a Tactical Role-playing, Action and Single-player video game created by Monolith Soft and published by Namco. The game takes place in the fantasy-themed world and serves as the 1st title in the series of Project X. The plot revolves around the two characters named as Xiamu and Reiji Arisu. Both characters are working for a special unit called Shinra, and they are set out on an epic adventure to investigate the disturbance in the environment. The player needs to select his character and jump into the environment to complete the quests and earn AP points. He can navigate the world from an isometric perspective, interact with the environment and non-player characters and can participate in turn-based levels. Up to fifty levels are present in the game to explore, and the player must score the highest points to unlock additional content and become the master to enjoy new features. Saya assumes the role of the antagonist is the while the player act as the protagonist named as Reiji Arisu. The game begins from King Lorik’s chamber, where the hero receives information about the Dragonlord and the stolen balls that must be restored.
The hero sets out on his quest after receiving some items and gold with one clear objective. Along the way, the player finds many different items that can increase the hero’s strength in order to achieve the objective. The player can sell or purchase items to/from shops to increase the weapons, armor, or other goods. The player has limited Experience Points, Hit Points, Magic Points, Gold, and Lives that must be balanced while playing. Dragon Quest game has core features such as Arcade-styled Graphics, Side Quests, Enemies, and Trading Options.
