During the gameplay, the player assumes the role of a protagonist named Brad Armstrong, whose main objective is to search out his adoptive daughter through the world of Olathe, full of dark.

On the way, more characters join Ness and he continues his journey to collect the Melodies and encounters the Aliens and other obstacles.
