World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko: The Last Hope is an RPG, Casual, and Single-player video game developed by Chunsoft. It is the second game in the Mystery Dungeon series and offers similar gameplay to the original one. Throughout time, the player assumes the role of a protagonist named Torneko, who has to explore the items’ mazes.

The player controls the character from an overhead perspective that is convenient to beware of the dangers. The character can attack with close-ranged weapons like swords and long-ranged weapons like bow and arrow. The player can summon magic spells using a wand or scroll. Identical to the first one, Torneko also has a hunger meter, which decreases health if he does not eat bread.

Each time the player enters the same dungeon, the maze path will be different to ensure the complexity.

It is a two-dimensional game where the player can view the character from an overhead angle. Many items the player can discover through progression. In the beginning, the character can only carry a few items, and if he dies, the player loses all collected items and must restart.
