The game is played from an isometric perspective, and the player commands a character that is created at the start of the game. Although mostly gameplay is similar to the first installment, there are several notable differences between the two games. During the gameplay, the character of the player needs to eat food and drink water to survive, although this element can be switched off using an available option in the menu if the player wants.
