Dark Sector is an Action-Adventure, Third-person Shooter, Single and Multiplayer video game developed by Digital Extremes and published by D3 Publisher. The plot takes place in the fictional country of Lasria known as Eastern Bloc and follows the protagonist named Hayden Tenno, who is a CIA clean-up man. According to the story, the protagonist struggles to fend off the rogue agent named as Robert Mezner, the right of Hayden, who is infected with a virus known as Technocyte, which enables him to grow a three pronged. Most of the game centers on the use of Glaive (a tri-blade throwing weapon which returns to the protagonist after throw), the primary weapon of the character. The game mixes the elements of Puzzle, Exploration, Real-time Combat, and Long-distance battle. The player takes on the role of the protagonist, and his primary objective is to defeat foes using the tri-blade weapons and interact with non-player characters and environment to solve puzzles.
