The game serves as the sequel to Splatterhouse and brings enhanced visual details, mechanic, and smooth controls. It continues the story three months after the events of the first game. Each level offers a boss at the end, and the player must defeat the boss to move to the next level. After that, the Jack decides to go against them and to fulfill the mission he enlists the help of his buddy named Oswald Nelson. Together with friend, the player starts by heading to the sports stadium to gather more information and find the hideout of the Big AI. The game starts with the player select one of two modes, to take down enemies using punches, kicks, and other weapons gathered over the course of the game. The player is the hero who come out to save his girlfriend named Heather. With addictive gameplay, superb mechanics, and old-school graphics, Rival Turf is the best game to play.
