Civilization VI: Gathering Storm is a Historical, Strategy, Adventure, and Single-player video game offered by Firaxis Games. It serves as the seventh main installment in the series of Civilization and introduces the same gameplay as the other titles offer with some advanced features. The player needs to find the secret behind the environmental changes that whether the changes come randomly or it relies on the environmental decisions.
The game offers natural disasters, such as volcanic emission, cloudbursts, hurricanes, dirt storms, the rising level of rivers, blizzards, and cool breeze. The player must store the water by building several resources, such as dams and barriers to take benefits later. Some of the disasters prove beneficial for the player; for instance, after volcanic emissions, influenced tiles may have their yields expanded.
The player can also research green power alternative solutions, such as geothermal power stations as the civilization discovers mountains, rivers, and desserts and named the places accordingly. The game introduces Diplomacy for the player through which he can earn diplomatic points by many sources and must win public votes to achieve diplomatic victory.
The game also offers eight civilizations, nine leaders, new technologies, civics era, and two scenarios, such as The Black Death and War Machine. In the Black Death, the player needs to lead the nation calm and alive in the mid of the 14th century, while the war machine allows the player to take the role of Germany to capture Paris or as France to prevent its capture.
The game has core features, such as Eight Civilizations, Nine Leaders, Two Scenarios, Strategy-based Gameplay, Natural Disasters, and Diplomacy.
