Joy Ride Turbo is a Kart Racing, Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by BigPark and published by Microsoft Studios. The game allows the player to select his avatar to drive several vehicles in the battle racing tournament against rival drivers. It acts as the sequel to Kinect Joy Ride and comes with several modifications, new content, and features. The offers the similar gameplay to Mario Kart video game series and is played using the Xbox 360 controller, unlike the previous titles of the series. The avatar of the player is used as a driver, while the character who is controlled by computer have a system created avatars, generated randomly. There are eight different competitors in the circuit, and the player will discover power-ups while racing against opponents to boost his power. It serves as the fourth main installment in the Sega Superstar series with offering the same gameplay to the last releases. Throughout the gameplay, the player needs to race against other players and tries to be the champion.
The game comes up with 20 characters and three different modes where the player gets control on different vehicles, such as boat mode, plane mode, and car game mode. In the car mode, the player can perform drifts and car stunts to earn points; boat mode allows the player to control the boat as turbulence. In contrast, the plane mode permits the player to move freely in the air horizontally or vertically.
