Real-time Strategy (also known as RTS) is a subgenre of Strategy games where the game doesn’t progress in turns. In these games, the player manoeuvre and position structures and units to protect the areas of the map and struggle to take down the assets of his opponent. In most of RTS games, the player has an ability to create additional structures and units during the game’s course. There are limited resources, and the player must expand by taking over the special points on the map or possessing the individual types of structures and units to fulfil the purpose. The RTS genre introduces base building, resource gathering, technological development, controlling units and more. Construction and Management Simulations, City-building Games, and Real-time Tactics video games are not considered to be RTS. In RTS game, the playfield is split into a map area showing the game terrain and world, building and an interface comprise production and command controls.
