Cel-shading video games became synonymous in interactive media with the style of Dreamcast game, Jet Set Radio, but this technique has been applied in various other games over the year, including No More Heroes. Cel Damage, and GTA: Chinatown Wars. In simple, Cel-Shading is a style of animation that offers games a more hand-drawn look. However, just because of image maintains the appearance or sharp out, it doesn’t mean it has been Cel Shaded. The difference lies in the lighting’s method which has been applied using the specified number of colour shades, depending on the view’s depth and counting the values for each pixel. These games take place in the simple hand-drawn environment where the player commands the character from either a side-scroll, third-person or a first-person to advance through the games. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best examples of Cel Shaded video games, where the player commands the character named as Link through a variety of quests to compete against enemies while experiencing the Cel Shaded environment.
