Base Wars developed by Konami and published by Ultra Games is a Sports, Co-op, Single and Multiplayer Baseball video game with base running, batting, fielding and pitching elements. The game offers an exciting gameplay and takes place in the 24th century where the owner of baseball teams tired by paying salaries of the players, they all decide to replace their player with robots. The game introduces a fighting element while maintaining the basic elements of baseball such as running, fielding, etc. There are different cyborg robots, looking like a tank, a motorcycle, an Android and more. The player must select his robot and start his career by competing with opposing team. The robot of the player can be upgraded with modern weapons and maintained with money made for wins during tournaments. There are up to fourteen teams available, twelve of them representing cities while two other teams can be customized. To get into the stadium, the player has to select his team, choose a stadium and start his career, in which he has to face off multiple teams in one-on-one matches and defeat them to progress. The primary goal of the player is to score the highest runs compared to opposing team and win the cup. Each team has its unique attributes and skills that can be used to win the match.
