The game is the sequel to Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance released in the year 2001, and it takes place in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting found in D&D. However, the gameplay follows the rules of Dungeons and Dragons Third Edition released in the year 2000. The game serves as the direct sequel to the previous title, and it comes with a story revolving around five adventurers who are struggling to rescue the Baldur’s Date from an evolving evil and his dark forces. The player finds himself in the 3D environment where he can control the rotatable camera.
