The combat system of the game comes with several improvements from its previous title and out of the battle gameplay, it is less complicated, and the invention and alchemy system were merged. In the game, the battles are fought primarily in the turn-based system, and there are two switchable characters such as Felt and Viese.

In the game, each item has its unique properties, ranging from elemental attribute to individual skills. In the area, the player is confronted by vicious monsters, and once the player successfully bumps the beast, one of four controller buttons will be shown. The player fight against enemies in the turn-based combat and in each match the player needs to reveal his tactics, plan his strategy and then release attacks at enemies to take on them.
