Alternate DiMansion Diary is an Adventure, RPG, and Single-player video game developed by Kagura Games for Windows. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a female protagonist named Sae, who is a university student and finds herself lost in the mountains.
In search of a path to her house, she comes to explore an old mansion. The character enters the mansion with the hope of some sort of help. But as she explores the mansion, she comes to discover that it is not only a mansion but a horror place where she gets trapped.
The main goal of the player is to discover the exit path to escape from this old looking mansion. The mansion contains scattered items, and the player has to collect all the items for progression. The player must solve all the puzzles if she wants to save her life and go back to the city safely; otherwise, the horror mansion will not let her go.

The gameplay is offered via text and imagery on an isometric map. In the game, the objective of the player is to make up to $500,000 within six months on the force, through different ways which the player selects. There are numerous levels, and the player needs to complete each one by fulfilling the requirements to become the master.
