The game has a paddle at the bottom of the screen, and when the ball collides on the surface of the paddle, it bounces back towards the bricks.

The player can destroy the blocks by hitting the blocks using a paddle or the Shard Storm power-up. The broken bricks will release many items that the player must collect using the paddle to charge the Shard Storm bar.

The player can form a cage of shield all around the paddle, which will destroy the blocks on contact. All power-ups offered by the game contains positive effects and functions such as twice the number of shards, or give the player an extra life.
