Battle Grounds III is an Action, Historical, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game developed by The Battle Grounds Game Development Team. For the first time during the gameplay, the player can take on the role of the British army or American Team in a battle. While exploring the world, the player controls the character using a first-person view.

The British team, along with the inhabitants, engage in battle in opposition to the United States Army and the French Team. The player needs to play with a strategy to get control in the playfield for gaining victory for the desired side. While battling against enemies, the player can use a variety of weapons and hand-to-hand fights with the rivals.

In the British team, the player can play as Regular Infantry, Officer, Iroquois Warrior, Light Infantry, or Grenadier, while playing with the American team the player adopts the role as Continental Soldier, Officer, Frontiersman, Militia, or French Grenadier. The game offers more than 25 weapons, such as swords, rifles, grenades, and a lot more, and permits the player to choose the army uniform that properly suits the team.

The game comes up with eight new maps and 11 revamped decade-old maps for the player where the player can unlock new maps by getting to advance in the gameplay. In the multiplayer mode, the player can play with 80 characters altogether and controls advanced AI on the battlefield. The core features of the game are Eleven Old Maps, Eight New Maps, Twenty-six Weapons, Two Teams, Eighty Players, and Intelligent AI Bots.
